Hygiene. We have the AC or a fan on back there and then the hair blows around and get tracked on the floor.

Brazilian wax removes all the hair.
Bikini is only what the Undies don’t cover.

No, the room is much too small and warm for extra bodies and extra body heat. Plus we find extra people distracting and the opposite of a calming presence.

What is a histamine reaction?

A histamine rash can happen to anyone and is caused by “trauma” to the skin (in this case superficial skin trauma caused by waxing). A histamine response induces swelling and red coloring to the skin due to a boost in blood flow and release of histamine. Histamine reactions after waxing can look different for everyone. Since waxing (especially for first timers) can shock the hair follicle waxing may cause a histamine response. A histamine reaction could look like:
-Prolonged redness
-Hives
-Red bumps
-Skin feeling hot almost like a sunburn

How long does a histamine reaction last?

Redness, hives or blotchy red spots can be par for the course after waxing depending on your aftercare, skin, sensitivities and many other factors… A “normal” reaction can sometimes be mistaken for an allergic response and due to the heat associated with a histamine response can even feel like a “burn”. Burns are immediate responses to a heat source and do not come on delayed like a histamine response. It’s best to start by applying the Deck Polish if you think you’re having a histamine reaction and take a Benadryl if able. The symptoms should completely subside in 24-48 hours.
